Everyone wants more Requisition Scrolls. They’re fun to open, and it’s an easy way to boost your power and get more characters almost instantly. That said, they can be hard to acquire in Warhammer 40k: Tacticus, one of the hit, new non-anime gacha games. Luckily for us, there are a few ways you can easily get more Requisition Scrolls without dropping hundreds of dollars on the game. Here’s every way to get Requisition Scrolls in Tacticus and along with some tips for when you do finally get them.
Opening Requisition Scrolls
Okay, before we dive into how to get Requisition Scrolls, or reqs for short, you’re going to want to keep a few things in mind. First, never open reqs individually. You should always open them 10 at a time. When you open 10, you are guaranteed a character. If you open 10 individually over the course of a week, you might not get a character at all. The math has been done on this, and you get more shards and characters if you open 10 at a time. We know it’s tempting to open them as soon as you get them, but trust us—wait.

The other thing you’re going to want to keep in mind is that it might not be the best idea to open them up early on if you’re a new player. See, the character pool that you’re pulling from is determined by how far you’ve progressed in the campaigns. After beating a chapter boss, they’ll get added to your req pool and become a possible pull the next time you open one. You can view your odds of getting any character by clicking the ‘i’ button in the upper-left-hand corner, as seen in the above image.
You’re going to want to push as far as you possibly can in every campaign before opening your next set of reqs. High-tier Tacticus characters like Celestine, Castellan Creed, and Thaddeus Noble aren’t going to be available in reqs until you beat their chapter. If you’ve hit a wall, then it’s okay to use your reqs and see what you get, but we suggest pushing as far as you can before doing that.
Getting Req Scrolls in Tacticus
The Daily Store

The easiest way to get reqs in Tacticus is through The Daily Store or just buying 10 of them for 3000 Blackstone. This definitely isn’t the best use of your Blackstone, though, so most people don’t recommend doing this unless you have the cash to blow or extra Blackstone from the Tacticus promo codes the devs put out every so often.
The Daily Store will sometimes have req scrolls in different amounts, but no matter what, there’s no discount for buying in bulk. You can purchase 1 for 300, 3 for 900, or 5 for 1500. There’s also the option to buy 10 for 3000 Blackstone, as we mentioned before. That offer is always on the table and isn’t dependent on what you roll in the store.
Opening Mission Level Chests

Completing missions awards you different things like shards, badges, orbs, and coins. You’ll also get Mission XP which gets added to your Mission Level at the top of the screen. Every time you increase your Mission Level, you’ll open a chest with different rewards based on its tier. One of the rewards will always be a req scroll. Early on, you’ll get a ton of req scrolls very quickly from this, and it’ll be the easiest way for new players to get req scrolls besides increasing your power level.
Increasing Your Power Power Level

In addition to energy and some other rewards, every time you increase your Power Level, you’ll get a req scroll. You can increase your Power Level by upgrading your characters. This includes leveling their spells, giving them upgrades, and promoting or ascending them when you have enough shards and orbs. You can see how much power you need for the next level by clicking on your Power Level when viewing the home screen.
Opening Campaign Chapter Chests

Campaigns are split up into 5 different chapters, each with 15 levels. You can get 2 crates from each chapter, or 10 total, but only the final crate for each chapter contains a req scroll. You get these crates by getting 35 and 45 medals in the level. In order to get the final crate with the req scroll, you’ll need to get 3 medals on every level. You’ll lose a medal if a character dies, so keep your guys alive. Finishing the level in time for the Lightning bonus doesn’t matter when it comes to medals (for campaigns, quests are a different story).
Limited-time Missions After Boss Battles

Once you’ve beaten a boss, regardless of whether or not you got 3, 2, or 1 medal, you’ll be given a limited-time mission that you must complete within 24 hours. These missions are extremely important, so don’t neglect them. Try to complete them as fast as possible so you don’t forget or run out of time. They’ll reward one req scroll and some mission points, so there’s no reason not to do them. The requirements are often related to the campaign you got it from, so they’re not exactly difficult.
Unlocking Battle Pass Levels
For $9.99, you actually get a lot of decent things in the premium battle pass. Besides unlocking a character, you’ll also get req scrolls, Blackstone, and upgrade materials. If you don’t feel like buying the premium battle pass, you’ll get 3 req scrolls. If you do buy it, you can expect 10, which would normally cost you over $20 if you were going to buy the 3000 Blackstone. The battle pass is definitely a good buy if you have $10 lying around and enjoy Tacticus. It’s easy to complete, and the rewards are well worth it.
